Traditional Clay Refining · Aged MaterialQingduan clay is a natural (symbiotic ore) composed of Benshanlvni (green clay) and Zini (purple clay). Both Benshanlvni and Chai clay are original(original Zisha ores). The significance of their共生 (symbiosis) lies in their natural formation and consistent properties.
As ancient records state: "Tuanshan clay is found at the northern foot of the junction between Huanglong Mountain and Qinglong Mountain." This naturally mixed共生矿 of Zini and Benshanlvni, after firing, exhibits either a bronze-like hue or a yellowish-red glow depending on the temperature or the addition of sand. The resulting texture is exceptionally elegant.
